Made in China

By Charles Martin | May 13, 2008

Sorry for not putting in some posts in the last week.  I am working on a big post about our win against the IRS.  It will be a google boon fersure.

In the meantime, please give our friends in China a few moments of your time this week.  Thousands and thousands are trapped.  Families are destroyed.  Businesses are wiped out.

Had to rush over to the local white-boy hardware tonight to fix the toilet flapper.  Turned the box over and of course the $2.27 part was “Made in China”.  Whomever made it might not even have a toilet.

Having made stuff in China for my own profit, I know that so many of these people that are trapped and dead are connected to or have family members that travel out of the center of the country where the earthquake hit and go to places to make everyone’s stuff.

Sure, I like capitalism just like you, but these times require a great deal of humanity just like Myanmar.

Talk soon.
