Take one for your team

By Charles Martin | August 4, 2008

How many times this week or month have you sat on your opinions and just lived with the results or decisions of your boss without a peep?

Gather up the important stuff and use it when it’s really important.  In the past week I’ve remembered that this is the smarter way to approach changes that you need swayed your way.  I have the priveledge of being separated from the main office of my company by 3,000 miles.  It works to my advantage and it doesn’t — I’m out of the day to day BS, but decisions are made on my behalf all the time without my input.  I let a few medium sized issues sail pass me so I can have my way on a few biggies coming up.

Put down the small knives and carry a big stick.
