Are you prepared to make something out of this downturn?

By Charles Martin | September 26, 2008

The HH is.

In my spare time (what’s that?) I am infiltrating among VCs, tech gurus, blogger chiefs, and all the guys in between that will better my 2009. More on that later.

The real thing to do now is not panic. So your bank changed from WAMU to Chase today. Big deal. What’s real important is that we will all say later that we were here then and we survived it. We built new busineses (I will have,… you?), we got married, we had kids, we bought new cars and we still only paid little for it. This is a time to rally and climb the blue ladder while the rest of the country, and maybe the world, is panicking.

Opportunities are here and there. New environments in business where risk is defined the old way will help us build firmer footings in our businesses. We will get investments by investors, but maybe based on real and doable projections, rather than something that disappears in an instant.

The HH is taking 2009 for his own. Come with me. Enjoy a time that will be like no other.
