Do you listen to all layers of sound?
By Charles Martin | October 5, 2008
I was at the grocery store today and as I contemplated which bacon to buy (it turned out awful), I noticed as I often do, that there were three or four levels of sound coming at me.
The musak was soft rocking me. The old refrigerator unit was humming. People were talking at the front of the store and then there was the hum.
Good sellers and marketers know how to peel away the layers and listen to what their customers or prospects are saying. Next time, tune it tight and listen for all the sounds of their rebuttal.
