The airports were a ghost town this Thanksgiving

By Charles Martin | December 2, 2008

As many of you know, the airports were dead for the most part last week.

We were in and out of the TSA line, with kids, in about 3 minutes.  This is a good sign of the 2009 economy to come.  The planes were partially full and the employees especially more brusk.  Layoffs are in order.  AA and Delta are already creating and building “relief” centers that they’ll open after the holidays for laid off workers.

Get out there and travel if you can.  If you’re part of the still-flying public, then demand more from your airline of choice.
