In almost everything, Open Source is the way to go

By Charles Martin | December 31, 2008

2009 and it’s opportunity will be mostly defined by how much people and companies collaborate and share information.  This picture from the Monterey Bay Aquarium and it’s caption struck me as the crux of successful stories in today’s tough economic environment.

Thus, if America is to be as competitive and as innovative as we need to be to have the best cars and the cheapest and most abundant fuel, we need to open our doors and plans to everyone.  There are companies that I’ve been associated with that are quite the opposite and they suffer for it every day.

Open your notebooks and share that idea.  It will grow.  I promise.  Happy New Year to ya too.
