Find solace in another’s good news
By Charles Martin | July 21, 2009
I heard the greatest news in a long time today. An old friend solved a very hard to complete personal circle and it just made my week, day, and year all in one sentence when they told me. I had always been routing for this news. Literally for years. Sometimes you get what you wish for.
It reminded me that good things don’t always have to happen to you and effect you directly to propel you to do better and make better choices and most of all have faith in good outcomes. I can be fueled on this news for a while and it won’t change my day to day at all.
As @danielpink has said in the Bunko book, “It’s not about you”.
It really isn’t.
