The mods have it

By Charles Martin | August 20, 2009

I worked a mod the other day for a friend of a friend of a friend and low and behold you CAN not pay your mortgage for 13 months and get away with it.  Not only that, we were successful in getting new terms after this with the standard 3 mo. forbearance.  I’m certainly not condoning not paying a mortgage but this is evidence of the state of our mortgage system.

Scott Groves, of Trustyourlender.com, states “It’s apparent that we [the mortgage industry] really kept our eyes off the corral gate for too long”.

Sure did.  There are probably hundreds of thousands of people out there that are packing their bags for a smaller life when all they need to do is contact a reputable someone to get them back on a fair track.  Many of these no-payers don’t deserve the help too.  We know who you are.

If you need help, contact me.  I can probably lead you to a successful ending.
